Mexico is one of the main high-quality coffee exporters in the world and the state of Oaxaca, one with a long coffee tradition and international recognition. In Oaxaca, the culture of shade-grown coffee continues to predominate and we constantly improve our work towards the protection of the ecosystem by following two integral concepts: the first is associated with the use and management of the soil, and the other with the conservation-use of the natural resources.
There are more than 100,000 coffee producers in Oaxaca, distributed in 150 municipalities, whose communities belong to 30 ethnic groups, both native and mestizo.
